Artful Ideas
The object of art is to give life a shape.
–William Shakespeare, Midsummer Night’s Dream
An accomplished friend of mine (dacotahkromes©) from high school took this picture in our hometown. It’s a place where standing in line is definitely worth it. Unpretentious. Popular. Nearly always, in season. And since I’m targeting “artful ideas” on this page, ice cream is a good place to begin. Just imagine some of the wonderful concoctions created at ice cream shops around the globe. But artful ideas are everywhere. Creativity that delivers a fun twist, a bit of pizzazz, or a soulful moment. Experiment, brainstorm … see what comes to mind.
A dozen artful ideas to lead the way!
Homemade latte
Pumpkin butter
Vibrant colors when least expected
Accidental poetry
Capturing memories or fleeting thoughts in a journal
Meditating on world peace
Writing a poetic love letter
Making an anonymous gift
Thanking someone twice
Smiling in the rain
Sharing knowledge or time pro bono
Singing to your dog
