A FEW TIPS
Be sure your words make a personal connection.
Do your donors know your organizational leadership? If not, why not?
Let others edit your written work. A draft is merely a draft.
Brevity is good, usually.
Put real effort into written communication — it shows.
Create a memorable message within brochures, letters, websites.
Include visuals within written documents when possible.
Quotes are effective.
Do your words suggest action; will they stimulate the reader to support the cause?
Organize your message so the reader doesn’t have to work too hard.
