A good question to ask yourself at least once a week is this … am I really following my bliss? The wonderful Joseph Campbell left us with those wise and wonderful words many years ago, but it is timeless advice. When I wrote my recent memoir, A HAPPY TRUTH: Last Dogs Aren’t Always Last, I shared that our puppy Georgia had a great name: Georgia Bliss O’Henri. Bliss because deciding on a new puppy after losing beloved pets was my way of “following my bliss.” And she has been nothing but a joy. She makes us smile; she loves to play; and she even gets excited about a bath. Now that’s a first in our house!

SO … this spring … be sure to check in with yourself.
See if you are following your bliss … life is short, after all.

helping us along more than we fully notice or appreciate.”
