As a lifelong student of society and culture, I write books … nonfiction, poetry, and the occasional short story. Yes, like many authors, I even have a few draft novels in a drawer! Otherwise, I spent many years working with nonprofit organizations. My undergrad work was completed at Stephens College, and my graduate work in sociology at Iowa State University. Focusing on complex organization (systems theory, org development, etc.), I enjoy project design & management, along with staff and board development.
